Happy 75th, Leonard Cohen!

Thank goodness - Leonard Cohen is OK after his brief collapse during his concert in Valencia, Spain last Friday. Luckily, the cause of his fainting was not too serious: suspected food poisoning, from which he has now recovered.

Apparently, he actually wanted to go on with the show and return to the stage on Friday after he fainted, but they wouldn't let him. After resting over the weekend, he was well and scheduled to go on with his planned concert in Barcelona tonight, September 21st, taking the stage in a sold out venue on his 75th birthday.

What a legend :)

What Time Is It In Ottawa?

Hey, listeners in other timezones! Want to know how long left till midnight when you're tuning in for RENegade?

I've now added a handy little Ottawa clock to the right-hand sidebar so you can check what time it is in Canada's capital. This will also be helpful once the daylight savings stuff happens in the fall, because not all countries jump for DST at the same time.

I will continue to use Tuesday's dates for the RENegade shows, despite it technically starting in the first minute of the following Wednesday. "Tuesday night at midnight" just seems to work more logically to describe when it is. But if you are in a later time zone, it may be easier to think of it as a Wednesday morning show.

Thanks for listening, wherever you are!
